Alexander McQueen
I'm not into the Alexander McQueen menswear label since his time and up til now, nothing has much changed. It took me three viewings of the collection pictures to say it is actually good. I thought this is a much wearable collection compared to Sarah's previous. The "salvageness" of it is gone, much cleaner but somehow managed to have the McQueen edge to it.
Prada
The collection is hard to swallow, so to speak. The combination of such ugly prints in a much uglier cut has somehow resulted in an interesting mix only Miuccia can do.And yes, wear one of these next spring and you will definitely end in a blog.
and i thought Burberry made the "it" shoe for spring. This is so worth checking out when the Prada store in Dubai opens.:)
Versace
Is Alexander Plokhov still involved? Because this collection kind of made me confused. For the past seasons Versace became a really clean line and this season the burst of colors on everything tells me it's going back again to its roots, and not in a good way. I can't even buy the idea of the green gladiators.
Gucci
The toothpick silhouette is back again. Really, really good clothes but nothing new.
My favorite look of the season yet.
Etro
Still, Etro remains one of those labels that I don't care at all no matter what they do. Not my cup of tea. But on the collection side, it was good although I think Etro needs a new direction to add fresh air to the house a little.
