How would you style 3 mannequins, 2 women and a man, in 3 looks that will appear at least cohesive?TEXTURE AND DETAILS.And that's where my base point in looking for pieces. I wanted the clothes to be beautiful when seen, at the same time, touching will make you adore it more. And of course, my models and so as Al Pacino should be incognito.
First look.: WORK
If I were a woman, rich, and assumes a very high position(a.k.a Carine Roitfeld) this is the look to go.I always love the idea of this very sweet tweed couture-like dress enveloped in a very dark and serious black coat. The dress alone is too ladylike but the time you slip on that shoes, wear that coat(take-note it's leopard-lined), and carry that bag it instantly transforms into a DON'T-MESS-UP-WITH-ME look.It brings out the Miranda Priestly in you.:)

Second Look: Night out
I did this look in memory of Alexander McQueen whose first death anniversary was on Feb. 11, and what a good tribute would be using one of his most talked about piece for men from his last collection- the chunky skull knit sweater. Because this is too much a statement piece, I decided to tone it down with that gorgeous pair of Dior Homme jeans and a white shirt. But then again, the shoes..

You know what they say LESS IS MORE, this is a perfect example. Proof it only takes a perfect dress and a perfect pair of shoes to produce a perfect outfit. I wanted the viewer to look and focus at the dress, the details of this dress, and the legs in a straight line down that's why I didn't use accessories or jewellery that will distract the eye elsewhere. As a stylist, this kind editing is so important.
