My Favorite Things for Fall 2011-12

I'm not really into fall season things because..........................

wool and cashmere always say "I'm expensive than cotton".haha.

So here are my favorite items this season.

Let's start with this

Maison Martin Margiela ostrich pen. love love love this

First of all, I don't travel, but I do think it's nice to have your passport in this McQueen holder just to give that customs lady something new to see.

I love this Mr. Marc Marc by Marc Jacobs laptop sleeves. it's cool worn as pouch.

........and this Christopher Kane glycerin filled pouch. And can I just say it's so 550 pounds so expensive?
This horsehair necklace by Ann Demeulemeester is as scary as it is good. But this thing costs a pony already at 198 pounds.

I love this ring by Maison Martin Margiela. yeah.it appears to be only in half.

3.1 Phillip Lim. Who will not fall in love with this bag?

This ostrich leather Cornelian Taurus backpack is at 3,000 plus pounds. I wonder how much an ostrich costs?lol

I love this shoes by Ets Callatay. It's like wearing wood. How cool

Bottega Veneta

God, so many chunky things. I was eating ice cream while doing this blog. Maybe that's why.hehe.

......and if I were a woman, this would be my fall shoes. so fierce.Ann Demeulemeester.

and........ I really really want to try these Laduree macaroons but I was at Dubai Mall yesterday and it cost 100 Dirhams for a box of six. Yeah, that is how small they are. One day Laduree, one day.:)

Carrefour's Humor During Ramadan

Ramadan maybe a season of fasting for Muslims, but not for supermarket giant, Carrefour. For them, it's a season of promoting the opposite- food, and lot's of it. I  was at Marina Mall the other week and I took these shots in secret using my touch.
Their usual space for anything that says "discounts" were filled with artery blocking food and anything that says "Forget fasting"

KILLER OFFERS: what an appropriate term when selling oil, lol.

Boxes of Indomie Nooldles

Hershey's Syrup at 20 off. I just love Iftar,hahaha

To be fair with the big C, Lulu hypermarket also did the same.:)
Ramadan Kareem or should i say Happy Eating?

Saks Fifth Ave. Outlet, Dubai

If you are planning to have a designer wardrobe but can't afford it, this is a place to go. Dubai, with all its endless sales and designer outlets puts fast-fashion to shame,  you won't ever need them anymore.

Style Outlet is the off-season designer outlet of Saks Fifth Ave. It is located in Jumeirah Beach Resort. This place is heaven for those who, like me, can't afford the new stocks at the Saks Burjuman store. Items sold here are 2-6 seasons old from labels and designers like Dior Homme, Marc Jacobs, Dolce & Gabbana, Alexander McQueen, Viktor and Rolf etc, etc. Compared to other outlets like Priceless(Harvey Nichols and Bloomingdales' outlet) the store offers a very good selection for men.

I'm very sorry for the bad photos as I was on a state of confusion thinking which 90 off  Marc Jacobs sneakers should I get. And gray or black John Varvatos scarf? Eh, I got them both instead.:)

Yes, you read it right, these shoes are at 90 off.

These are Prada shoes at 70 off.

I don't know why I took pictures of the bad shoes that night. I only realized it when I saw them on my computer. But just to give you an idea of what they sell....
These are on the 90 off rack. There are 5 racks more where everything is at 80 off.

Michael Kors.this is so cute.

Marc Jacobs and Michael Kors flats.

the dress is by Dolce & Gabbana , the coat is D&G(no, they're not the same). the dress originally costs 7,700 AED,coat at 8,500 AED. Both at 80 off. You do the math. I would buy this dress if I were a woman. This is so good seen real.

A rack of Dolce jackets

Details,details,details.

If my memory is correct, these pajama-inspired pieces were runway items, right?

Rafe' and B&ad bags at 80 off.

These John Richmond jeans costs 5,935 AED but they were selling this at a whopping 50 AED. yes 99.9 percent off. And I thought I can only see that in a hand sanitizer bottle.lol

every jeans here at 50 AED. Antik Batik, Robin's Jeans, etc....

Menswear section. Jeans by Dior Homme , Alexander McQueen, Dolce, even John Galliano, etc.. and so are the jackets you see. They even stocked Kris Van Assche here.

That Alessandro dell'Acqua hi tops(white in gray soles).Thank God it wasn't my size.

This is the Dior Homme rack.I tried this vest on and I fell in love with it but I told my self "You need to come up with 10 reasons why you need a vest". And I can't give myself any, hahaha. This complemented my look that night. 400AED from 2000 AED.

Outfit:
Necklace: Maison Martin Margiela
Sandals: Kris van Assche
Bracelet: Maison Martin Margiela
Shorts: Massimo Dutti
Shirt: Zara(did I just say you don't need fast fashion?LOL.taking it back.hahaha)
