One of the strongest collection this season and a progressive outing for Rick Owens. He explored new silhouette, loke the elephant trousers and reworked some basics like the trenchcoat to his own esthetic. He also managed to perfect the oversizing of his garments without looking over the top.

Ports 1961 fall 2016 menswear
It s just lovely to see clothes, just clothes that are well designed and stylish wothout going over the top. One of my favorites this season and Milan certainly made the label current and relevant again.
Marc Jacobs Fall 2016 womenswear
This new outing by Marc Jacobs proves he is one of the best designers out there. Firstn the clothes are unwearable, but the strenght of this collection lies in the context and concept. I thought this was a risky collection but well delivered. Beautifully executed on the runway as well.

Givenchy vs. Maison Martin Margiela: Battle of the Nosebridge Ring
When I first saw this very unique piece at the Givenchy men's runway for spring 2013, i was very curious as to how this will hold itself on the bridge. I have never seen like such an accesory before. I thought of owning one that time.
Until it was women' s fashion week. Maison Martin Margiela had the same thing, but this time much smaller and less obvious. I find this one more wearable especially the ones without crystals on. It can go well with any outfit in my opinion being toned down as compared to the Givenchy ones which will give a very strong statement.
Both are available at luisaviaroma.com.
Raf Simons Trainers Spring 2013
They sell out the moment they are posted online and i was just happy to get my hands, or should I say foot a pair. Ah, another unplanned purchase.
This isn't the colorway that I like but didn't have a choice. Perhaps that day it was a "Buy it now or miss it forever".

Alexander Wang to Balenciaga
Wang's designs, especially in his recent collections shows he can well do this job easy. Although going fashion forward and avant-garde, he is still attached with the word "commercialism" which is Nicolas has not been after. I hope he does justice to this. I know he can.....but, ok , where is Nicolas going interests me more.
